Using an E-ticket is very simple and completely secure. You CAN'T LOSE an E-ticket since your ticket is your confirmation number and photo identification. And in the event that you forget the confirmation number, the flight number will do the job or you can contact us for the confirmation reference number to get e-mail or e-ticket.

• If I purchase an E-ticket, what do I get as proof of purchase?.

On buying an E-ticket, you will be sent a confirmation for the same via e-mail. Travelers can present a copy of the same at the time of check-in along with valid photo identification (such as a driver's license/PAN Card). Incase, the passenger has not received this mail, then he/she can get in touch with our customer support & request for the same.

• What should I know before I book an airline ticket from Akbar Travels Online.com?.

• What are the valid travel documents required to get boarding pass/check-in at Airport?.

Please carry your e-ticket print out along with a valid Photo Identification Proof for (Indian nationals). Foreigners may be required to produce a copy of the RESIDENT PERMIT on request, at the time of check-in.

• How do I cancel or change my flight- travel reservation?.

Akbar Travels Online (ATO) will charge a service fee of Rupees 100/- per ticket with regards to any kind of change made by the passenger. . In case of a No Show or if the passenger fails to travel under any circumstances, Akbar Travels Online will NOT be liable to waive off any cancellation/other charge.     Domestic Airlines charge an average fee of Rupees 500/- per ticket for any kind of change, this fee be waived off by Akbar Travels Online.

    (Tickets can be preponed or postponed without any fee depending on the policies set by the airlines. Please read Restriction, Penalties & Cancellation Charges paragraph before booking the confirm itinerary.)

    In case the passenger is canceling a reservation more than 24 hours prior to departure and are holding a paper ticket, the ticket must be couriered to us in order for us to complete the cancellation process. Kindly note that your cancellation request must be made at least 24 hours prior to the travel departure date mentioned on your Air ticket.

    If the cancellation request is less than 24 hours prior to departure date, passengers are requested to contact their respective Airline office & get the cancellation endorsement on the ticket. This is applicable for Electronic Ticket as well as Paper Ticket.

    Kindly ensure that cancellation reference number to be mentioned on the ticket along with the date & time duly stamped by airline staff.

    (Please note - Indian Airlines & Air India does not have any cancellation reference number, but airline cancellation endorsement is mandatory on the ticket.)

    • How Do I get my Refund?.

    In order to get a refund, the Passenger needs to courier Akbar Travels Online, the paper ticket. The Airline will not settle the refunds as the tickets are issued/ booked through us. After deduction of the applicable , the balance amount will be reversed back to the credit card or in the form of cheque as per the mode of payment at the time of booking.
